AS/NZS 2293 sets mandatory testing intervals for all commercial occupancies in Queensland, and the documentation requirements are specific. AS/NZS 2293 Requirements
Under AS/NZS 2293, emergency lighting in commercial buildings must be:
• Inspected visually every 6 months to verify all units are operational
• Tested for full rated discharge capacity (minimum 90 minutes) every 12 months
• Maintained and repaired promptly where defects are identified
• Supported by documented test records retained for the life of the installation

QPT services worked closely with ND&Y engineers to deliver a defect-free project on a 3 chiller upgrade on a live data centre. Works included decommissioning existing chillers and installing new chillers, including change over panels, Variable speed drives, and electrical and electrical control.
