Greenstar Industrial Facility Design & Construct: Advanced HVAC Systems for Optimal Comfort and Compliance
We recently completed the design and construct of a Greenstar-rated industrial facility spanning more than 20,000m², featuring a range of cutting-edge HVAC systems and advanced technologies. This state-of-the-art facility includes multi-zone air conditioning systems for multiple office spaces, a dual-purpose smoke exhaust system, and a DDC (Direct Digital Control) controlled ventilation system to ensure superior air quality and optimal indoor comfort for all occupants.
At the core of the facility’s climate control is the multi-zone air conditioning system, designed to provide precise temperature regulation in various areas of the industrial space. This system allows different zones, including multiple offices, to maintain individual temperature settings, ensuring that each area remains comfortable and energy-efficient. Whether it’s the office spaces or high-traffic areas, the multi-zone system ensures that temperature control is consistent throughout the entire facility.
In addition to cooling and heating, the ventilation system was specifically designed and installed to meet the requirements of AS1668.2-2012, ensuring compliance with Australian standards for ventilation and air quality. This is essential for maintaining a healthy work environment, as it helps remove contaminants, control humidity, and provide a constant supply of fresh air, which is especially important in large industrial settings.
This design and construct project of the Greenstar industrial facility represents a successful collaboration between cutting-edge HVAC technologies and sustainable building practices. From multi-zone air conditioning to the dual-purpose smoke exhaust system and DDC-controlled ventilation system, every aspect of the project was designed to ensure optimal comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. The installation of 156kW cooling and heating, along with ventilation systems compliant with AS1668.2-2012, makes this industrial facility a model for sustainable, high-performance design.
By focusing on indoor air quality, safety, and environmental impact, this project not only meets the needs of today but also ensures a green, sustainable future for industrial facilities looking to minimize their ecological footprint while maximizing operational efficiency.
