Links Gold Coast golf course upgrade consist of like-for-like replacement of 24 air handling units, 1 chiller and 1 buffer tank. The replacement units were selected to be compliant with the National Construction Code to increase the system’s overall efficiency with carbon dioxide monitoring installed.

Office Fitout Design and Construction at 75 Wharf Street, Tweed Heads: High-Efficiency Cooling and Ventilation Systems

A professional office fitout was successfully completed at 75 Wharf Street, Tweed Heads, featuring a tailored design and construction for optimal indoor climate control. The office space is equipped with 112kW of cooling capacity, ensuring consistent comfort throughout the year.

A desalination plant is required as Kiribati is one of the most remote and least developed countries in the world. It faces significant challenges due to its vulnerability to climate change. QPT Services conducted a heat removal analysis for the desalination equipment on site and sized the ventilation fans appropriately with VSDs installed to modulate as required. Air-conditioning systems were sized based on local conditions with filtered outside air systems to remove high salinity air prior to introducing it into the rooms.

A successful replacement of a 85kW outside air pre-conditioner for a pharmaceutical company. The challenges of  this project includes tight constraints, delivering equal approved pre-conditioner, and ensuring indoor conditions are met as per standard. Additionally, new ductwork and supports are included to ensure optimal performance and safety of the system.

Design & Construct of a Greenstar industrial facility of more than 20,000m2 consisting of multi zone air conditioning to multiple offices, dual purpose smoke exhaust system, and DDC controlled ventilation system. A total of 8 smoke exhaust fans were installed in the warehouse along with 156kW of cooling and heating to the main office A and B. Ventilation to this project was designed and installed compliant to AS1668.2-2012 ensuring superior air quality for the occupants.

QPT services were engaged to carry out the electrical package in a heritage-listed building which included multiple sub-board upgrades, and complete D&C of their power and lighting requirements.

QPT services worked closely with ND&Y engineers to deliver a defect-free project on a 3 chiller upgrade on a live data centre. Works included decommissioning existing chillers and installing new chillers, including change over panels, Variable speed drives, and electrical and electrical control.
